WHY APPLE CIDER VINEGAR?

Apple Cider is made from crushed apples, distilled and then fermented. The strong vinegar smell comes from

bacteria that turned the alcohol into acetic acid. Studies have shown the possible health benefits that apple cider vinegar may bring

  1. Weight Loss: Vinegar may help people lose weight by increasing feelings of fullness and hence reducing the amount of food consumption 

  2. Digestion: Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural laxative and can improve digestion due to it's ability to increases the acidity of your stomach, which helps your body create more pepsin, the enzyme that breaks down protein 

  3. Reduce Cholesterol : One animal study showed that obese rats who took apple cider vinegar daily saw a reduction in total cholesterol, LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, and triglyceride levels due to its antioxidant benefits

  4. Reduce blood sugar levels: Vinegar taken before a high carbohydrate meal improves insulin sensitivity hence prevents large blood sugar spikes

Regularly drinking one tablespoon (15 ml) of apple cider vinegar with 100 ml of water daily
